This article will help you to install or update Firefox 26 in CentOS, RHEL and Fedora systems. First check system requirements for installing forefox latest version

Step 1: Install Required Yum Repositories
Firstly we need to add required repositories, Remi and EPEL for CentOS and RHEL systems, RPMFusion for Fedora systems.
Install Remi and EPEL Repositories in CentOS/RHEL using following commands.
# rpm -Uvh http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm # rpm -Uvh http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
Install RPMFusion and Remi Repositories in Fedora 19 using following commands.
# rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm # rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm # rpm -Uvh http://rpms.famillecollet.com/remi-release-19.rpm
Step 2: Install/Update Firefox
After installing required repositories use following command to install firefox on system.
To install on CentOS/RHEL 6# yum --enablerepo=remi install firefox To install on Fedora 19# yum install firefox
If you have already installed firefox on your system, just update it using below commands.
To update on CentOS/RHEL 6# yum --enablerepo=remi update firefox To update on Fedora 19# yum update firefox
Step 3: Start Firefox
Start firefox using following command from terminal
# firefox or # firefox &
